What does treatment typically look like?
Every patient receives an individualized treatment plan, but a common approach may include:
Week 1

- Typical maintenance dose: 8-16 mg daily, adjusted based on withdrawal symptoms and cravings

- Continue Suboxone while stabilizing

Long-term stabilization
For many patients, we recommend transitioning to Sublocade®, a once-monthly injectable form of buprenorphine.

- Then a gradual taper or discontinuation if clinically appropriate
Many patients find that Sublocade provides smoother symptom control, eliminates the need for daily medication, and makes eventual discontinuation easier.
